As houses go, the one unveiled Saturday in the Red Oaks subdivision off Silver Glen Road is more than impressive. To call it a house would be an understatement. At 15,000 square feet, mansion would be a better moniker. “This house would use the same energy as one a third smaller also built to Energy Star standards,” said Jim Cavallo, a member of the Illinois Association of Energy Raters.
